As Israel, Iran trade barbs and blows, fears rise of a broader Middle East war
LONDON – The risk of an all-out Middle East regional war is rising rapidly after Iran fired around 180 ballistic missiles at Israel.
As air raid sirens blared across Israel and live TV pictures showed fiery missiles streaking through the sky above the Jewish state during the late hours of Oct 1, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that “Iran made a grave mistake” and “will pay the price”.
