Bitcoin, Ethereum Rise Following Economic Data; Casper Emerges As Top Gainer

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $1,800 mark this morning.
The U.S. trade deficit in goods increased to $96.8 billion in April versus a revised $84.6 billion in the prior month. The personal consumption expenditure price index in the U.S. rose 0.4% month-over-month in April versus a 0.1% growth in March.
Casper (CRYPTO: CSPR) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Lido DAO (CRYPTO: LDO) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.12 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 1%. BTC was trading higher by 0.9% at $26,569 while ETH rose by around 1.3% to $1,825 on Friday.
