Dow Reverses Gains in Afternoon Trading

The Dow Jones Industrial Average reversed gains in afternoon trading as declines from a group of expensive stocks weighed on the price-weighted index.

The index had 10 losers and 20 gainers, with its worst performers including 3M (MMM), Amgen (AMGN), and JPMorgan Chase (JPM). Shares of 3M fell 1.8% to $103.70, while Amgen dropped 1% to $257.07, and JPMorgan slid 0.6% to $147.84.
