What Wall Street's Saying About Nvidia's Results
The consensus on Wall Street seems to be that while Nvidia’s latest results look decent, they’re a little bit short of the eye-popping earnings beats to which investors have become accustomed in recent years.
Most analysts have kept their price targets for shares unchanged, according to data from FactSet, although Piper Sandler’s Harsh V. Kumar and Stifel Nicolaus’ Ruben Roy did both upgrade the stock to Buy from Hold.
Nvidia’s profit, revenue, and sales guidance all topped estimates, although its gross margin outlook for the current quarter was slightly below expectations owing to the production ramp of its new Blackwell chip.
