Quant Value Fund leads value mutual funds in three-month returns; delivers 26.1% gain
Quant Value Fund delivered 26.1% returns over the last three months and 23.8% CAGR over three years, according to ACE MF data on July 2.

The three-month return chart for the value mutual fund category is led by Quant Value Fund, which delivered 26.1 percent. Aditya Birla SL Value Fund and HDFC Value Fund occupy the next two positions with returns of 15.8 percent and 13.8 percent, respectively, according to ACE MF data on July 2.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, Nippon India Value Fund has the largest corpus at Rs 8,821.2 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. Quant Value Fund was ahead of its benchmark by 19.9 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning -4.0%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 14.5 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 9.2%.
The lead does not change on a six-month basis either. Quant Value Fund also tops this comparison with a return of 14.2 percent.

What is a value fund?
Funds in the value fund category should be assessed against schemes with similar investment mandates. Return comparisons across unrelated categories may not be meaningful because risk, asset allocation and portfolio strategy can differ sharply.
