Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ETF FoF delivered 43.8% CAGR returns over three years and 28.3% CAGR over the last one year, according to ACE MF data on July 6.

Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ETF FoF currently leads the overseas fund-of-funds mutual fund category with a three-year CAGR return of 43.8 percent. It is followed by Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 FOF and Edelweiss US Technology Equity FOF, which delivered returns of 38.2 percent and 31.5 percent, respectively, over the same period, according to ACE MF data on July 6.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 FOF has the largest corpus at Rs 8,583.3 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ETF FoF was ahead of its benchmark by 27.0 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 16.8%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 23.9 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning 4.4%.
The one-month ranking gives a different reading. Edelweiss US Technology Equity FOF is ahead on this measure with a return of 2.2 percent.

What is an overseas fund-of-funds fund?
Funds in the fofs (overseas) category should be assessed against schemes with similar investment mandates. Return comparisons across unrelated categories may not be meaningful because risk, asset allocation and portfolio strategy can differ sharply.
