Stock Market Today (July 13, 2026): Sensex, Nifty Plunge As West Asia Tensions Push Crude Oil Prices Higher

On Friday, both the Nifty and the Sensex ended the trading day and week on a firm note. The Sensex jumped 1.08 percent and closed 827.57 points higher at 77,569.39 and the Nifty closed 244.10 points higher at 24,206.90. Until last week, market experts were upbeat and believed the West Asia conflict will not escalate again.
