Watch live: Warsh testifies before House on state of US economy
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh on Tuesday morning will speak on the state of the U.S. economy before the House Financial Services Committee.
The hearing comes as President Trump has seen his approval rating decline over rising affordability concerns and pocketbook pressures sparked by the ongoing war with Iran. Warsh earlier this month sought to downplay inflation fears but offered no hints on the upcoming interest rate decision.
In June, the Fed held interest rates steady at his first meeting since taking the reins of the central bank from former chair Jerome Powell. The next forum is scheduled for July 29.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.
