ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund leads index funds – other index mutual funds in three-year CAGR returns; delivers 28.7% gain
ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund delivered 28.7% CAGR returns over three years and 36.8% CAGR over the last one year, according to ACE MF data on August 3.

The three-year CAGR return chart for the index funds – other index mutual fund category is led by ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund, which delivered 28.7 percent. Motilal Oswal S&P 500 Index Fund and Motilal Oswal BSE Enhanced Value Index Fund occupy the next two positions with returns of 24.5 percent and 24.4 percent, respectively, according to ACE MF data on August 3.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, Motilal Oswal S&P 500 Index Fund has the largest corpus at Rs 4,487.1 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund was ahead of its benchmark by 5.4 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 23.3%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 10.5 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning 26.3%.
The order changes on a one-month basis. Nippon India Nifty Midcap 150 Index Fund delivered the strongest return among these five schemes at 2.4 percent.
The order changes on a three-month basis. Motilal Oswal Nifty Microcap 250 Index Fund delivered the strongest return among these five schemes at 11.0 percent.
The same scheme also stays ahead on the one-year return chart. ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund delivered 36.8 percent over this period.
Looking at more than one return period gives investors a fuller picture. The top performer in a recent window may differ from the fund that has delivered stronger longer-term returns.
