Dow Jones| Nasdaq | US Stock Market Today | Live: Chip, software stocks slide as Datadog plunges 22%, AppLovin drops 19%

Technology shares came under pressure, with Micron falling 4.6% and AMD, Marvell Technology and Intel losing more than 1% each. Software stocks also declined broadly, while Datadog tumbled 22.3% after its second-quarter results and AppLovin sank 18.7% after quarterly revenue missed Wall Street estimates.
