U.S. trade rep says ‘there are gaps’ in negotiations with Canada as G20 meetings in Milwaukee wrap
U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy will appear Sunday on “UPFRONT”
MILWAUKEE —
In a new interview set to air Sunday on UPFRONT, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer says “there are gaps” in negotiations with Canada amid the escalating trade war as the G20 Trade Ministerial wraps up in Milwaukee.
“We’ll keep working with the Canadians,” Greer said during the wide-ranging interview Thursday. “I’ve made deals with like 20 countries over the past year and a half, so it’s possible to do. If Canada wants to get to a yes, we’ll be there.”

Both Greer and U.S. Transportation Secretary and former Wisconsin congressman Sean Duffy will appear Sunday on UPFRONT in an interview taped at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee.
“I don’t think that’s going to come into play this election cycle,” Duffy said when asked about the Trump administration’s tariffs. “This is an election around the cost of living.”
“UPFRONT” airs Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. on WISN 12 and statewide on ABC affiliates.
