Solana ETFs Report $2.4 Million in Inflows: Is the Winning Streak Ending?

Spot Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) ETFs managed to keep their streak of weekly inflows alive for the week ending October 2, 2026, but only with a modest $2.4 million, according to SoSoValue. This comes right after a remarkable week when Solana ETFs saw a surge of $188 million in inflows, including a record single day of $86.7 million.
Since late June, these ETFs have posted consistent weekly inflows. However, in the latest five sessions, two ended with net outflows, raising questions about whether this trend might be coming to a close.
Solana ETF Buyers Came In Early, Then Pulled Back
At the start of the week, buyers showed strong interest. Solana ETFs attracted $12.7 million on September 28 and another $5.4 million on September 29, signaling a surge in late-September activity. However, on September 30 and October 1, investors withdrew $11.1 million and $5.9 million, respectively, wiping out most of the gains. A small $1.3 million inflow on October 2 was just enough to keep the weekly total positive.
This sequence of inflows and outflows tells a critical story. A week that relies on one strong day suggests demand may have appeared temporarily and then faded. In contrast, consistent small inflows throughout the week would indicate renewing buyer interest.
End-of-week net assets stood at $1.9 billion, down from the record $1.96 billion set the previous week. Since the funds still took in $2.4 million, Solana’s price drop accounts for most of the $55 million decline in net assets. Cumulative net inflows now total $1.61 billion, which gives a clearer view of demand trends, since it changes only when money actually flows in or out.
Solana ETFs Have Taken In $842 Million in 2026
Those hoping the streak continues can find reassurance in the numbers. Solana ETFs have pulled in $842 million so far in 2026, including $480 million in the third quarter and $272 million in September alone. Such strong, sustained demand is unlikely to disappear after just one quiet week.
However, the drastic drop from $188 million to $2.4 million represents a significant decline of nearly 99%. With two sessions showing net outflows, it raises concerns since just one negative trading day could flip the week into the red. It’s also possible some investors took profits after the record demand.
Is the Solana ETF Inflow Streak Ending?
The current streak appears to be at risk of breaking. Buyers pulled back after two strong sessions, leaving the modest $1.3 million on the final day as the only thing keeping the week positive. Each new week starts from zero, meaning that the slim $2.4 million margin offers no advantage for the following week.
While a halted winning streak doesn’t directly affect these funds’ total holdings, it signals a shift in how new money views this investment. Upcoming flows from October 5 to October 9 will be crucial in determining whether the streak can continue. If outflows occur in three or more of those five sessions, the week could end negatively. Will Solana ETF inflows maintain their streak through October 9?
