Tech stocks rise after Anthropic IPO filing: AlphaCheck

Good morning. Stocks gained on Monday after AI developer Anthropic filed to go public.

The Tech (XLK) sector gained, with shares of chip giants Nvidia (NVDA), AMD (AMD), and Broadcom (AVGO) all jumping. Meta (META) stock declined after the social media giant revealed plans to raise up to $95 billion to fund its AI infrastructure build-out.

Brent crude oil futures (BZ=F) tumbled to $110 per barrel while WTI (CL=F) also declined to $101 ahead of a crucial Federal Reserve policy meeting this week.

Most market participants expect policymakers to hold rates steady this month.
