Investment Roundup: Vestmark, Allspring, WisdomTree, Returned Stacked ETFs, Quoros Expand Model Portfolio Options
Fintech Vestmark and asset manager Allspring Global Investments have formed a strategic partnership for building tax-aware model portfolios.
Allspring’s actively managed solutions will be available alongside other funds for advisors to use in Vestmark’s unified managed account infrastructure, which provides outsourced investment management, trading, rebalancing, tax-aware transitions and ongoing tax management through Vestmark Advisory Solutions and its VAST tax-overlay solution.
“By bringing together Allspring’s investment strategies with Vestmark’s technology and operational infrastructure, advisors can maintain their investment approach while we help manage the trading, tax management and implementation behind the scenes,” Rob Battista, executive vice president, advisory solutions at Vestmark, said in a statement.
WisdomTree, Return Stacked ETFs Join Forces on Model Portfolios Through Quorus
WisdomTree and Return Stacked ETFs (whose ETFs stack alternative strategies on top of core stock or bond exposure) formed a strategic relationship to deliver capital-efficient, co-branded model portfolios through Quoros’ platform.
These models will bring together WisdomTree’s asset allocation and capital-efficient ETF experience, Return Stacked ETFs’ approach to incorporating alternative and diversifying return streams, and Quorus’ portfolio implementation platform. The relationship builds on WisdomTree’s existing relationship with Quorus, which began in June 2025.
According to WisdomTree, capital-efficient ETFs combine multiple investment strategies within a single vehicle, such as coupling core market exposures with bond futures, gold, and long/short equity. Return Stacked ETFs, meanwhile, pair traditional market exposures with managed futures, merger arbitrage and other systematic strategies.
The open-architecture models will provide flexibility to incorporate both proprietary and third-party investment strategies and be managed by WisdomTree’s model portfolio investment committee with input from the Return Stacked team.
“For decades, the industry has focused on how much investors should allocate to stocks versus bonds,” Jeremy Schwartz, global chief investment officer at WisdomTree, said in a statement. “Capital efficiency allows us to think differently about that traditional framework and consider how differentiated return streams can complement those core exposures. This relationship puts that thinking into practice for financial advisors and their clients.”
The models are expected to be available on Quorus this quarter.
Janus Henderson, Centrifuge Launch Blockchain-Native Fund Tracking the Nasdaq-100 Index
Janus Henderson, a global asset manager, and Centrifuge, a financial technology company specializing in tokenizing real-world assets, have launched JQQQ, a blockchain native fund offering exposure to the Nasdaq-100 Index through an issuer-sponsored investment strategy.
The fund is built for issuance and operation on public blockchain infrastructure. Managed by Janus Henderson, the fund is powered by Centrifuge’s full-stack infrastructure for onchain funds. The fund seeks to track the Nasdaq-100 Index, under license from Nasdaq.
The launch expands Janus Henderson’s onchain platform, which includes more than $1 billion in institutional strategies across U.S. Treasuries, structured credit, and public equities.
The fund is launching on the Stellar network.
VanEck Launches Wealth Builder ETF
Asset manager VanEck launched the VanEck Wealth Builder ETF (WBMO), which brings the firm’s Wealth Builder model portfolio strategy to an ETF that combines global equities and fixed income with real assets and a measured bitcoin exposure, with VanEck selecting the investments, managing the allocation, and rebalancing the portfolio at a 0.33% gross expense ratio.
The portfolio seeks growth opportunities through targeted exposure to transformative technologies while incorporating gold and other real assets for alternative sources of return. Diversified global equities, different sources of fixed income and a measured bitcoin exposure complement these positions.
WBMO follows an open-architecture approach, drawing on both VanEck and third-party ETFs to construct a diversified portfolio aligned with the firm’s long-term macro outlook.
“The traditional 60/40 portfolio was built for a different investment landscape. An asset allocation that extends beyond stocks and bonds to include real assets gives investors the potential to perform across a wider range of economic outcomes and investment regimes.” David Schassler, portfolio manager and head of multi-asset solutions at VanEck, said in a statement.
Cantor Fitzgerald, Lincoln Energy Partners Launch Interval Fund Targeting U.S. Oil & Gas Assets
Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management and Lincoln Energy Partners have launched the Cantor Fitzgerald Energy Fund, available under the tickers CNRAX, CNRCX, CNRGX and CNRSX.
The interval fund seeks to maximize risk-adjusted total return with an emphasis on current income, primarily by investing in oil and gas interests, including non-operated working interests, located in the U.S.
As of Oct. 26, the fund’s portfolio is varied across about 3,000 wells and 200-plus operators in key U.S. basins, with exposure to oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. The fund uses an investment strategy previously implemented by Lincoln in a private predecessor vehicle, which launched on Feb. 15, 2022, and was subsequently merged into the fund through a tax-free reorganization in October 2026.
