U.S. stocks trade mostly lower as investors digest GDP report, tech earnings
U.S. stocks were mostly lower on Wednesday morning after GDP report showed the economy grew at a brisk 2.8% annual pace in the third quarter, while the closely-watched ADP jobs report also showed private sector hiring picked up in September.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was losing 0.1%, to trade at 42,162 as of 9:30 a.m. Eastern time, according to FactSet data.
The S&P 500 was falling less than 0.1%, leaving it nearly flat, at 5,830.
The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.1%, at 18,745.
