The Nasdaq Is Lagging Behind. Super Micro and Other Chip Stocks Are Struggling.
The Trump rally was leaving tech stocks in the dust.
The Nasdaq was flat after closing at a record on Friday. But the two other major indexes were defying any Monday blues. The Dow was up 388 points, or 0.9%, and the S&P 500 was up 0.3%.
Tech was by far the biggest loser of the S&P 500’s 11major sectors; it was down 0.8%. Two other laggards were real estate, down 0.2%, and health care, down 0.1%.
