Dow ends about 200 points lower as stocks edge back from record territory
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 207.33 points, or 0.5%, ending at 43,750.86, posting a loss in two of the past three sessions.
The S&P 500 index shed 36.21 points, or 0.6%, closing at 5,949.17, posting its biggest daily decline since Oct. 31, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
The Nasdaq Composite index retreated 123.07 points, or 0.6%, finishing at 19,107.66, its biggest daily drop since Oct. 31.
All three indexes were less than 1.3% away from their recent records.
