Pony AI, which makes technology for robotaxis and autonomous trucks, is set to price its U.S. initial public offering as early as Monday after the closing bell, according to market sources.
China-based Pony AI plans to offer 20 million shares at $11 to $13 each for trading under the ticker symbol “PONY” on the Nasdaq.
At the midpoint of the price range of $11 to $13 a share, Pony AI will raise $240 million with underwriters Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., BofA Securities, Deutsche Bank, Huatai Securities and Tiger Brokers.
In a sign of interest in the IPO, Pony AI last week increased the size of the offering by 5 million shares, to 20 million shares.
A Bloomberg report surfaced last week that Uber Technologies Inc. may invest in Pony AI and use its technology outside of the U.S.
