The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) has had an outstanding 2024, climbing above not only 40,000, but above its 44,000 benchmark as well. Tuesday marked the ninth straight losing session for the index — its longest losing streak since February 1978 — as it now hovers above 43,000.
