Stock Futures Rise to End Terrible February After S&P 500 Wipes Out 2025 Gains
It’s been a terrible February for the stock market.
The only crumb of comfort for investors is that it’s a short month and Friday is its final trading day. U.S. stock futures were pointing higher but Thursday’s selloff did real damage to the rally–wiping out the S&P 500’s gains in 2025 and sending the Nasdaq Composite close to correction territory.
The recent slump in tech accelerated as Nvidia–down 8.5% after earnings–failed to reinvigorate artificial-intelligence stocks, achieving the opposite.
