Dow Jones Industrial Average up by more than 100 points as losses fade
The Dow Jones Industrial Average flipped higher in Wednesday afternoon trading as investors weighed better-than-expected U.S. data against the uncertainty of U.S.-imposed tariffs.
The Trump administration is considering a one-month delay for automakers of tariffs imposed on Mexico and Canada, according to Bloomberg News.
The Dow was up 112 points, or 0.3%, at almost 42,633.
The S&P 500 was down 2 points at 5,776.
The Nasdaq Composite was little changed at 18,285.
