US Stock Market Live: Futures on Wall Street continue to tread lower after Monday’s steep sell-off, which saw the Dow Jones fall as much as 1,300 points intraday. Futures on the Dow Jones are currently trading 80 points lower, while those on the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq are down 11 points and 50 points respectively. US President Donald Trump stepped up his attack on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, calling him a ‘loser’ and pressing for an out-of-turn rate cut. The FOMC is slated to meet on May 6 and May 7. Analysts continue to steeply cut profit forecasts for American companies amidst the tariff backdrop.
