US Stock Market Live: US futures are currently trading below the flat line after some last hour buying aided a recovery in regular trading on Monday. The Dow Jones recovered over 350 points from the lows of the day to end in the green. The S&P 500 also gained for the fifth day in a row, marking its longest winning streak since November last year. The Nasdaq’s recover from the low ensured it ended flat but in the red, reversing losses of as much as 1.1%. Currently, futures on the Dow Jones are down 50 points, while those on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are also in the red. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that it is up to China to de-escalate the trade tensions and that he has an “escalation ladder” in his back pocket, which he hopes not to use in the future. The US Dollar continued to weaken after multiple failed attempts to reclaim the 100 mark after disappointing manufacturing data.
