Nvidia’s Legal Chief Reaps Benefits of AI Boom, Grows Law Team

Nvidia Corp’s top lawyer Timothy Teter saw his total compensation soar nearly 75% last year, to more than $19.2 million, as the company emerged as a major producer of the chips needed to advance artificial intelligence models.

Teter’s pay package was predominantly comprised of $17.8 million in stock awards that supplemented his roughly $1.3 million in cash compensation, according to a proxy filing late Thursday. Teter’s pay was a notable increase over the $11 million and $9.1 million , respectively, he earned for the two years prior.
