UKB councilors hear report on audit, 401K issues

United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians tribal councilors heard the public’s concerns about the backlogged audits, building a casino and issues with employees’ 401K contributions.

At the July 14 meeting, Anilé Locust asked if the audit had been completed. She said she spoke to some of the councilors and suggested an independent audit be conducted.
