VA Tech Wabag, a leading pure-play water technology Indian multinational group, has secured a ₹380-crore Design, Build, Operate order from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board. The order, to be funded by World Bank, will undertake Design, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning of Wastewater Treatment Plants with Tertiary Treatment Facility, Biogas Generation, Solar Sludge Drying Beds and Intermediate Pumping Stations along with associated piping works. It is scheduled to be completed over 30 months, followed by 10 years of Operation and Maintenance.
Jayant Infratech has received a new work order from DCC Infra Projects for an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract. The scope of the work includes the Doubling of Tracks between Naojan (Km 285.860) and Furkating (Km 330.043), covering a stretch of 45.278 km, and electrification works for the Lumding – Tinsukia Junction – Dibrugarh Doubling Project of the Northeast Frontier Railway in Assam. The total value of the contract is ₹33.99 crore (inclusive of all duties and taxes).
Ceigall India has informed the exchanges that Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd , has issued a Notice of Termination for a project/ contract. The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) in in 2024 for the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Project – pertaining to part design and construction of an elevated viaduct and six elevated stations viz. Nandan Vihar, Raghunathpur, Nandankanan Zoological Park, Barang Station, Phulapokhari, and Trisulia Square (excluding architectural finishing) from Chainage 15095.240 M to 26052.770 M and including the Ramp for Depot entry under the Bhubaneswar Metro Phase-I MRTS, with a bid project cost of ₹898.99 crore.
Anil Ambani group firms Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) and Reliance Power (RPower) on Sunday said the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has concluded searches at their premises and the companies will continue to cooperate with the federal probe agency. “The action by ED has concluded at all locations. The company and all its officials have fully cooperated and will continue to cooperate with the authority,” RPower said in its latest stock exchange filing. The company continues to operate in the normal course and the said action has no impact on its business operations, said two separate statements issued by both RInfra as well as RPower.
NTPC Green Energy Ltd plans to set up renewable energy and battery energy storage projects (BESS) in Bihar. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) to take forward its plans.
Asian Energy Services Ltd, a leading integrated service provider to the energy and mining sectors, has been awarded an Integrated Service Contract from Vedanta Ltd. The total contract value is ₹865 crore, including GST, and the order will be executed over a span of 57 months.
