Nvidia stock rises, Fabrinet upgrade, Vital Energy surges

It’s time for Yahoo Finance’s market minute. Nvidia shares rise as Wall Street grows bullish on the AI name ahead of its second quarter results. In recent days, several firms now have been raising their price targets on the stock such as UBS, Wedbush, Baird, Stifel, Evercore ISI and Keybank Capital Markets. The median price target on the street is 200 per share, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. Turning to Fabnet, those shares seeing gains as JP Morgan upgrades the stock from neutral to overweight. The firm noting that the pullback in shares offers an entry point to participate in the upside. And lastly, Vital Energy shares surging here as Crescent Energy is set to acquire the company. The deal is an all-stock transaction valued at about $3.1 billion. This is inclusive of Vital’s net debt. The transaction is targeted to close by year end 2025.
