State-owned PFC has signed a performance evaluation agreement with the Power Ministry to set an annual target framework against which its achievement for FY26 will be assessed. According to the government guidelines, all CPSEs (holding as well as subsidiaries) are required to sign MoUs.
State-owned oil explorer Oil India and refiner Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) have formalised setting up of a joint venture company to create a gas distribution network in Arunachal Pradesh. It would entail setting up Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in the state and providing piped natural gas (PNG) to domestic, commercial and industrial consumers. BPCL’s board had given their nod for the joint venture in October last year. Both public sector enterprises will hold 50 per cent share in the joint venture.
The board of Acme Solar Holdings has approved a proposal to raise ₹3,000 crore in multiple tranches. The board also approved the re-appointment of Shashi Shekhar as Vice-Chairman and Whole-Time Director on the recommendation of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee, for one year from the completion of his present term, i.e. with effect from April 9, 2026.
Jaiprakash Power Ventures on Wednesday announced plans to set up a solar power project in Madhya Pradesh at an estimated investment of ₹300 crore.
SAEL Industries has commissioned its first solar power project of around 300 mega watts in Rajasthan. The project, in Jalore district, spans over 1,000 acres, the renewable energy player said in a statement.
