(QPEEL), has signed an agreement with Hyosung T&D India Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation, Korea, for gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) instrument transformers. This milestone positions Mehru as one of the first Indian companies to co-develop GIS instrument transformer technology for global markets.
Ayana Renewable Power Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private (a JV of NTPC Green Energy Limited and ONGC Green Ltd), has commissioned part capacity of 10 MW of a 92.4 MW wind project at Bhuj in Gujarat. REC on Wednesday said its arm has transferred Davanagere Power Transmission, a project special purpose vehicle (SPV), to Power Grid Corporation of India, which emerged as the top bidder for transmission service provider, through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process conducted by REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd for development of a transmission project on a Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) basis, according to a statement.
