Airlie backs BHP and battered ASX tech stocks to fuel recovery
Airlie Funds Management is betting on a resurgence in the technology sector and resilient iron ore markets as its flagship $1 billion fund looks to recover from a gruelling year, where it lagged the sharemarket by 7 per cent.
The Australian Share Fund run by Matt Williams and Emma Fisher returned just 3.2 per cent in 2025, trailing the S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index’s 10.3 per cent advance, after missing out on the rally in gold stocks and a heavy sell-down in blood plasma giant CSL.
