Here is the February Social Security schedule, when to expect payment
Social Security payments for February 2026 will be distributed on a staggered schedule based largely on beneficiaries’ birth dates, according to the Social Security Administration.
Recipients who began receiving Social Security benefits before May 1997, as well as those who receive both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income will be paid first, on Feb. 3.

Those born between the first and the 10th of the month will receive payments on Feb. 11. Beneficiaries with birthdays from the 11th through the 20th are scheduled to be paid on Feb. 18, while those born between the 21st and the 31st will receive payments on Feb. 25.
Supplemental Security Income payments for March will be issued early, on Feb. 27.
The Social Security Administration notes that if a scheduled payment date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, benefits are typically issued on the preceding business day.
If a payment does not arrive on the expected date, the agency advises recipients to wait three additional mailing days before contacting Social Security to report a missing payment.
