Adani Group stocks add nearly ₹2 lakh crore to their market cap after three day rally

Adani Group stocks saw yet another day of gains, extending their recovery to the third straight day after facing heavy losses across Monday and Tuesday.

Shares of Adani Green Energy ended 21% higher on Friday, while those of Adani Energy Solutions gained 13%. Adani Total Gas shares ended little changed but just above the flat line. The three stocks had their first day as Futures & Options constituents.

Adani Green Energy also gained 25% for the week, marking its first weekly advance since September. Most of the other group companies also ended with gains this week, reversing the losses seen during the first two trading sessions.

At the end of the week, Adani Group companies added ₹1.7 lakh crore to their overall market capitalisation. Adani Energy Solutions, with a 32% surge for the week, saw its market capitalisation climb back past the ₹1 lakh crore mark, while Adani Power’s market cap was back above the ₹2 lakh crore mark.

Adani Total Gas also saw its market capitalisation near the mark of ₹90,000 crore, while that of Adani Enterprises is back near the mark of ₹3 lakh crore.

Cumulatively, Adani Group’s market capitalisation stood at ₹13.69 lakh crore at the end of the week.
