CNN’s Matt Egan asks Fed Chair if he’s worried about the stock market

CNN’s Matt Egan asked Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell about concerns over the stock market. Powell says the economy is on solid footing despite a slew of recent economic surveys sparking concerns of the opposite and that “soft” data isn’t necessarily indicative of economic weakness.
