Dow, S&P 500 Notch 5-Day Winning Streaks But Nasdaq Falters
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 rose for a fifth day in a row on Monday, but tech stocks struggled ahead of a wave of earnings reports and ended the Nasdaq Composite’s winning streak.
The Dow rose 114 points, or 0.3%. The S&P 500 rose 0.1%. Both haven’t fallen in a week. The Nasdaq fell 0.1%, ending its winning streak at four days.
The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was down to 3.68%. The 10-year yield was down to 4.21%.
