Golf event promises fun at the library

Roll into the fun at the inaugural AAPL Bookworms Mini Golf Event at Altoona Area Public Library.

Tickets are on sale for the inaugural AAPL Bookworms Mini Golf Event, sponsored by Kooman and Associates, to be held on Saturday, March 8, at the Altoona Area Public Library.
For one day only, all three floors of the library will be transformed into an interactive mini golf course that’s fun for all ages.
This all-ages Family Mini Golf event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with tee times scheduled every half hour. Tickets are $5 each.
Special prizes will be awarded for kids under the age of 10 at the 19th hole, sponsored by Fanelli Legal.
Then after dark, it’s time for the adults to have all the fun during the Adult-Only Mini Golf Event from 6 to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $15 each. Enjoy a night of friendly competition, hors d’oeuvres and mocktails.
Tickets are on sale at the library or call 814-946-0417, ext. 125, to reserve your spot.
All ticket purchases benefit the library, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
