How the highest earners invest in ETFs (and who takes the most risk)

Australians in the mining, gas and oil sector have some of the highest investment risk appetites by occupation, followed by finance workers and chief executives, an analysis of 2241 customers of investment platform Stockspot suggests.

A snapshot of investor activity taken on August 11 by Stockspot, an exchange-traded fund-focused robo-adviser and investment platform, analysed the characteristics of investors linked to the highest-paying professions.
