Invest 95L spaghetti models, path. Will it become Jerry, impact Fort Myers, Cape Coral?
The National Hurricane Center in Florida is tracking Invest 95L in the Atlantic on Oct. 6 and expects further development in the next several days.
Invest 95L is expected to move west-northwestward across the central tropical Atlantic and could become a tropical depression by midweek, the hurricane center’s forecast said.
The system is expected to approach the Leeward Islands by the latter part of this week.

“It is becoming likely that this will organize into a tropical storm this week,” said AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski.
The next named storm of the hurricane season is Jerry.
It’s too soon to tell what, if any, impacts the system will have on Florida. Currently, models show the system turning north near the Caribbean.
In the Fort Myers, Florida area, showers and thunderstorms are a daily possibility this week. Temperatures are forecast to be in the high 80s.
