Is the stock market open today on Good Friday? Holiday schedules
Today, Christians around the world are observing Good Friday with mourning, reflection, and special church services. The day commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, part of Holy Week that leads up to Easter Sunday.
Good Friday is not a federal holiday in the United States, but it is a state public holiday in Florida, and state offices and local courts may be closed. Some businesses and services may also be closed or have limited hours. Most banks will be open for regular business hours. Mail will be delivered as usual, as will UPS and FedEx services.
