Nvidia Stock Hit the $4 Trillion Mark. The Mag 7 Is Back.
Nvidia became the first company to cross a $4 trillion market capitalization on Wednesday.
The artificial intelligence chip titan stands alone at the top of the U.S. market cap list, with its stock trading at its highest levels on record north of $164, according to Dow Jones Market Data. Shares need to close above $163.93 to be the first firm to end a session with a market cap of $4 trillion or more.
Aside from Nvidia, Amazon.com, Microsoft, Meta Platforms, and Alphabet were all up nearly 2% on Wednesday. Tesla was up 0.1%. The bigger laggard was Apple, trading around breakeven.
