Poland to Hold Rates Again Despite Softer Inflation
Poland’s central bank is poised to resist the pressure to cut interest rates as most policymakers worry about a rebound in inflation.
The Monetary Policy Council will leave the benchmark at 5.75% on Wednesday, according to all 31 economists surveyed by Bloomberg. The MPC may still vote on a motion to cut rates, said ING Bank Slaski SA economists, following dovish signals from some officials.
