RBA eyes vote transparency as likely rate cut looms
The Reserve Bank board may decide this week whether to publish the unattributed votes of its members on interest rates, potentially bringing the central bank in line with many of its international peers.
Financial markets are almost certain the RBA board will reduce the cash rate to 3.85 per cent from 4.1 per cent at the end of its two-day meeting on Tuesday, marking the second move lower in what is widely expected to be a shallow easing cycle.
