Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets have given up the gains attained in early trade. Earlier, the Nifty was up about 50 points, inching closer ot the 25,100 mark. The Sensex index is up over 100 points, with the 30-stock index pulling itself towards the 82,000 mark.Dr Reddy, Tata Steel, HCLTech, JSW Steel, Sun Pharma and Adani Enterprises are among the major gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are trading on a cautious note, as the Nifty index is up about 50 points. After touching 25,100, the index is trading around the mark. So far this week, the Nifty index managed to defend the 25,000 mark courtesy of the IT stocks, which were the only sectoral gainers.
The Sensex index is also up nearly 100 points, trying to hold the 81,800 mark. This comes on a crucial day, as India’s largest IT services company, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), will be reporting results after market closing hours today, thereby kick-starting proceedings for the Q2 earnings season.
Along with TCS, Tata Elxsi and GM Breweries will also be reporting their results. Today is also the weekly options expiry of all BSE contracts. Today’s session will also see reactions to business updates from companies like Senco Gold, Prestige Estates among others. Another IPO opens for subscription with Canara Robeco AMC, while LG Electronics India will close for subscription today.
