Yes, Alphabet is still up 4% after beating earnings expectations, but other tech names are losing momentum. Chip stocks are down, with Nvidia dropping more than 1% after Advanced Micro Devices turned in a satisfactory quarter, but provided disappointing guidance, which includes continued weakness in its non-artificial intelligence end markets. AMD stock is down 10%.
