Stocks Are Sliding Again as Tariff Uncertainty Weighs on the Market
The stock market selloff picked back up on Monday as the White House’s plans for far-reaching tariffs loomed over Wall Street.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 413 points, or 1%. The S&P 500 dropped 1.5%. The Nasdaq Composite slid 2.5%.
Market participants turned to bonds, with the yield on the 2-year Treasury note dropping to 3.88% on Monday. The 10-year yield was down to 4.2%.
