Stocks to watch on August 13, 2025
NSDL
National Securities Depository (NSDL) reported a 15% YoY growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 89.62 crore in Q1 FY26. Revenue from operations, however, declined 8% YoY to Rs 312 crore. This marks NSDL’s first quarterly results since its August 6 stock market debut.
NMDC
State-run miner NMDC posted a 32.7% QoQ jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,969 crore, compared to Rs 1,483 crore in the previous quarter. On a year-on-year basis, profit slipped 1%. Revenue fell 3.8% QoQ to Rs 6,739 crore, even as EBITDA margins improved to 36.8% from 29.3% last quarter.
Jindal Steel
Jindal Steel reported an 11.9% YoY increase in net profit to Rs 1,496 crore for Q1 FY26. Revenue fell 9.7% YoY to Rs 12,294 crore, missing analyst estimates by a small margin.
Oil India
Oil India reported a marginal 1.4% YoY rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,046.51 crore in Q1 FY26. Standalone profit fell sharply to Rs 813.48 crore from Rs 1,466.84 crore, hit by a 22% drop in crude price realisation – from $84.89 per barrel last year to $66.20 this year.
Cochin Shipyard
Cochin Shipyard posted a 7.9% YoY increase in net profit at Rs 187.8 crore, while revenue surged 38.5% YoY to Rs 1,068 crore. EBITDA rose to Rs 241.3 crore, though margins slipped slightly to 22.5% from 23% last year.
Suzlon Energy
Suzlon Energy posted a 7.3% YoY increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 324.32 crore for Q1 FY26. Total income rose to Rs 3,165.19 crore from Rs 2,044.35 crore last year, with EBITDA increasing to Rs 599 crore from Rs 370 crore.
HAL
Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) saw its Q1 FY26 consolidated net profit decline 3.7% YoY to Rs 1,383.77 crore. Revenue from operations rose 10.8% YoY to Rs 4,819.01 crore, while total income stood at Rs 5,566.10 crore, up 9.5% from last year.
Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea will acquire a 26% stake in Aditya Birla Renewables SPV 3 for Rs 1.56 crore over six months. The deal, approved by its board and audit panel, aims to secure captive renewable power supply.
