The Nasdaq Composite Turned Higher. Alphabet is Leading Big Tech.
A rally in Big Tech stocks led by Alphabet put the Nasdaq Composite back in the black on Wednesday.
The tech-heavy index was up 0.3%, while the S&P 500 was down 0.2%. The Dow was still down 323 points, or 0.7%.
Only 92 S&P 500 stocks were rising, but one of the index’s biggest, Alphabet, was up about 5%. Overall, the Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF was up 0.6%.
