Trade War Has Investors Up Early, Scratching Their Heads
David Kotok was up around 6 a.m this morning to read the headlines and check trading activity in Europe and Asia. It’s been a “nonstop” day since then, he said.
The 82-year-old has run his investment firm for more than half a century and said he’s never seen such a chaotic mix of trade and geopolitical risks. The president barreling ahead on what is escalating to an all-out trade war has left some clients bewildered, Kotok said.
“The entire Trump trade has been reversed,” he said.
