US-based Southwest Airlines to set up global innovation centre in Hyderabad
The US-based Southwest Airlines will be setting up a global innovation centre in Hyderabad.
This was announced after a meeting of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy with Southwest Airlines senior management team including Chief Information Officer Lauren Woods, Chief Technology Officer Tom Merritt, Jason Shying, Head, Legal Counsel and Sarthak Brahma from HEX Advisory Group in the State Secretariat here on Thursday.
While welcoming the decision of the Southwest Airlines for choosing Hyderabad for its Global Innovation Center in Hyderabad to support the evolution of their business strategy, Reddy said the aim of the State government was to to achieve a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047, as part of the state’s Telangana Rising 2047 vision, according to a release.
