S&P Global said that Alphabet’s inclusion in the DJIA would bolter its exposure to various popular sectors of the current tec industry, as shared in its statement below:
Google has has spent heavily on AI in particular, developing models like Gemini to the point that it collaborated with Apple to build a better AI-powered Siri digital assistant. In fact, Google’s own yearly I/O presentation was almost entirely about the improvements and new features coming to Google AI services like Gemini Omni.
Google’s stock showed some signs of underperforming earlier this week, but with its Q1 2026 earnings results having reported revenue of $109.896 billion over an expectation of $92.22 billion, Google has showed little signs of slowing down. Stay tuned to the Google topic for further updates.
