Palantir (PLTR) CEO Alex Karp warned that in large swaths of the artificial intelligence market, the cost to build the technology may not be worth it.
His comments came as investors have grown increasingly concerned over whether companies’ billions of dollars in AI spending will pay off.
Mutual funds have increased their cash allocation by Rs 10,000 crore on a monthly basis to over Rs 2.09 lakh crore in October compared to Rs 1.99 lakh crore in September. The cash allocation as a percentage of total AUM in the said time period was recorded at 4.94% against 4.92% in September.

US stocks fell on Thursday as investors absorbed the end of the longest government shutdown in US history, weighing its impact on the economy and the path of interest rates.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) led losses with a nearly 0.8% drop, while the S&P 500 (^GSPC) moved down 0.5%.
Disney‘s revenue for the September quarter was roughly flat year over year — coming in short of Wall Street estimates — and adjusted earnings per share declined 3%. But Disney+ and Hulu subscriber additions were better than expected, and the company says it’s still on track to deliver double-digit earnings growth over the next two years.
